So, you want to be a Harley® rider. Now what? Your family at Sound Harley-Davidson isn’t about to send you down the road without a little support. We’ve all been new riders once, and we know just how you feel. Not to fear. We’ll have you riding like an old pro in no time.
First thing's first. Learn from a program that takes rider education to its highest level. The state provides plenty of opportunities to get the proper training, but we support the Washington Motorcycle Safety Training - you can visit their website by clicking here! They're local, and have tons of classes to offer from beginner riders to advanced...even a Women's Only class! Check them out!
Group RidingThis can be a little intimidating if you're a new rider...even seasoned riders sometimes get nervous riding with two or more bikes. You're not alone, and we have a solution! Our Puget Sound HOG Chapter offers Group Riding Classes once a month, generally the first Saturday at 10am. It's held here at the dealership in our training room. There's an hour and a half of classroom training then a group ride is lead by the instructor (weather dependant) after the class.
