Ron Wagner - Director Of Puget Sound H.O.G..

We have just finished our first year as a chapter in the Marysville area and have accomplished some hard to beat firsts. First, we managed to make it to over 500 members our first year (we have already 252 signed up for 2008) as of January 8th, 2008 so the goal of 550 this year will be a difficult but reachable one.

We got involved in community relations, rode in a Christmas Parade, had five riders show up at a young man’s Birthday Party, helped a couple of local charities and are already planning on helping clean up a park that got damaged with flooding in December.

We are all riders and we are all human beings. We enjoy helping others and making people smile. We like being involved instead of just watching others.

If you think you would like to be involved in some of the projects or charities mentioned then you should consider joining our chapter. We encourage our members to get involved and we have established two new programs already this year for the benefit of our members and to get them riding. One is the Member of the Year award they can get for attending functions, meetings and going on rides, and the other is the Mileage Award which will help to get everyone riding more miles. Both have $250 prizes for the winners at the end of the year and anyone who is a Chapter member can participate.
